Episode 178: Big Pharma, Big Ed, and the Fauci Falsie (Wed., Nov. 27, 2024)

Bruce Deitrick Price

Big Pharma and Big Ed have a lot in common. Chicanery. Shenanigans. Blatant corruption. Lots of gullible victims. IMHO.

There seem to be people at the top of both industries who lack the gene for shame. Anything they can get away with, they are all in.

Time for the public to realize what the game is they're playing. On street corners it's called Three Card Monty. Many variations, one finale. The sucker always loses.

Point is, people have learned to distrust Big Pharma. Now they should learn to distrust Big Ed because Big Ed definitely does not deserve your trust.

Let's Fix Education explains to Americans why their schools are so bad. The people in charge prefer mediocrity because they are socialists of one kind or another. If people work together to promote real education, we'll have it.

Big Pharma, Big Ed, and the Fauci Falsie

Probably everyone has heard the speculation that Covid-19 was entirely a scam.

From the beginning, Dr. Fauci encouraged crisis and panic. When Trump held a press conference to celebrate a possible breakthrough, we could see Fauci frowning mightily. A quick cure seems to be the last thing he wanted. He wanted reasons for closing schools, disrupting traditional activities, outlawing family gatherings, and enforcing face masks.

Covid-19 now appears to be just another flu, like we have every year. The country was mobilized to find a quick vaccine, but no vaccine had been developed in less than four year, and there has never been a vaccine for cold and flu. But guess what, it was not even a vaccine if by that you mean something that gives long-term immunity. The curious thing was that Fauci  conducted a continual attack on ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, and other possible remedies. If any of these had been accepted, then the “emergency” status would disappear and drug companies could not break so many laws.

Point is, Fauci was the ring leader of what many people allege was a huge hoax, a clever attempt to make lots of money, weaken Trump’s candidacy by encouraging the use of drop boxes, and to give Biden an excuse for staying in his basement.

As years went by, we heard more and more suggestions that the “vaccine,” which had been forced on the public by a massive display of governmental power, was itself causing most of the deaths!

My suspicion now is that Covid-19 was designed to rewrite the definition of vaccine so that Big Pharma can tell you to take every “vaccine." (The government will pay for them, don't worry.)

Let's consider the parallels. We watch Big Pharma and we suspect they are up to no good. We should also suspect that Big Ed all along has been similarly mendacious.

The US once had the best schools but now, despite our huge budgets, are in the mediocre middle when our schools are measured against all others.

USA Today reports: "Academic progress is heading in the wrong direction in the years since the pandemic. Students are falling further behind as schools face the impending loss of Covid-19 relief funding aimed at helping them recover from severe setbacks in math and reading.”

I think most Americans are now suspicious of Dr. Fauci and his so-called “science.” Americans should view K-12 with the same suspicion as when they read about all this decline. Note the phrase "further behind.” That's a casual admission that they have been behind for a long time.

We have 50 million functional illiterates. We have kids in middle school who can't read. We have high school graduates who couldn't find Spain on a map. The self-appointed experts let all this happen in your face.

I've been complaining about faux-education for 25 years. It was only the last 15 that I offered my conclusion that there are no good ideas left, and the school system is malignant. We are witnessing "the deliberate dumbing down of America."

I think that is precisely why Trump wants to eliminate the Department of Education. This will open up possibilities for reform. Parents should get involved in the fight to toss out the bogus. Talk to your neighbors about school problems, start discussion groups, read articles (preferably mine) and Saving K-12. Learn why sight-words don't work, Constructivism is very inefficient, and Common Core Anything is a flop.

Let’s return to what always worked. Children learn to read in the early grades. They study geography and history from the get-go. It's like building a brick wall. You have to lay down a foundation and then layer after layer of bricks.

You can't hope that oh well, kids will pick up what they need as they go along. If anybody tells you that, demand a real school.
